Netbooks are a category of small, lightweight and inexpensive laptop computers, designed primarily for accessing Internet-based applications.
Cloud computing can be desrcribed as a combination of virtualization servers providind scalable and infrastructure for multiple clients over the internet.
The cloud computing system can be divided into 2 sections: the front end and the back end. They connect to each other throufh a network, usually the Internet. The front end is the side the computer user, or client sees. It includes the client's computer (or computer network) and the application required to access the cloud computing system. The back end is the "cloud" section of the system. On the back end of the system are the various computers, servers and data storage systems that create the "cloud" of computing services.
2. What applications does Google docs offer online?
Google Docs allows one to create documents from scratch or from a template for free. It allows one to do all the basics, including making bulleted lists, sorting by columns, adding tables, images, comments, formulas, changing fonts and more. The most important aspect of Google Docs is that you are able to upload your already existing files so that you are able to share your documents with whoever you want. (Google Docs accepts most popular file formats, including DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT, etc.)
3. Why would you want you documents stored in the “cloud” (online)?
So that you can access it anywhere you have internet connection. Also you are able to share it with others.
4. What advantages do students and teachers find in Google docs?
^ same answer as above.
